Do you need a Buyers Agency Agreement?

By Valeri Mumford

What is a buyers agency agreement? A buyer’s agency is a relationship between a REALTOR and a buyer. The agreement entails that the agent will be working for the buyer, by providing the essentials to help them purchase a home. Our agents stay with you until the day you close. The agent will point the buyer in the right direction for lending to purchase a home. The agent will look up properties for the buyer and show the interested properties. The agent will write up any and all offers for the buyer. The agent will help negotiate so a contract can be executed.  The agent will attend all inspections. Your REALTOR will be present at your closing to make sure the transaction runs smoothly until the last signature. In the meantime, you have built a lasting relationship with your REALTOR. Century 21 Crossroads creates those lasting memories with their clients by being a buyers agent. In 2013, we received the Quality Service Pinnacle Award for outstanding customer service. I would say the answer to “Do you need a Buyers Agency?” would be yes! You want someone on your side, when making one of the biggest financial decisions of your life, purchasing a home.
